May 18, 2013, 10:54 pm While cruising for some more subject matter, i came upon this place. It stuck with me because it's reflective about the area of Downtown East Vancouver. Perhaps there was a lot of hope in this area once, but similar to the people who inhabit this area, there is a sort of ruin. But i'd say there's a lot of texture in this area - of both the architecture and the people. Plein-eir until the electric wires. flag as mature 7

Sunset Mountains

May 14, 2013, 3:13 am a study of the transient light of sunset. The lighting changes extremely fast. I adjusted the color balance after in Photoshop to match more closely to what i thought i was painting, as my screen color calibration seems to be off a bit. flag as mature 7
