Just a fun, simple Fall-time painting for everyone to enjoy. I felt like it needed another point of intrerest, so I added a bird. Inspired by some birch paintings I saw online, but I painted this without a reference. I hope you enjoy it!

The first American serial ******, Holmes built a hotel at the **** Chicago World's Fair where he trapped and ****** between ** to *** people. Subject of the book "Devil in the White City" by Erik Larson. Painted for Weekly Challenge ***: "Dangerous Inn."

Title is a quote from Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men." Based on a picture that was turned in to me while we were reading the story, but I have not been able to find the image online. Props to the original artist for the inspiration! A large portion of this was done from memory.
