Title is a quote from Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men." Based on a picture that was turned in to me while we were reading the story, but I have not been able to find the image online. Props to the original artist for the inspiration! A large portion of this was done from memory.
Mm, Of Mice and Men was a great read. Guessing you were studying it in school which just makes this all the more impressive knowing that you're 15 or 16. Ossum.
There are not many words to describe this... soooooooo I will choose among my thery few options-just a sec... ah! Heres one yes yees yeeeees here it is: EPIC. I just had to put that in all capitals, sorry.
I like this book, but I cried when Candy's dog got shot DX This is an absolutely brilliant painting- I love the details on the grass and sky, and the 3D makes this look real...
I hated the book, and thought it was poorly written. The drawing is tremendous! I love how you can see through the house to it's far wall, and the layers of grass.
I found The Pearl rather uninteresting, and the end rather ridiculous, but Of Mice and Men, as well as The Grapes of Wrath, both aptly conveyed their messages to me. While reading the books was a bit of a chore, upon reflection tgey were great books (and I feel the same about Charles D'ckens, whom Colors!3D feels the need to censor). Wonderful drawing. The detail on the house and in the clouds is astounding, and the grass provides a perfect medium for the 3D effect.
OMG! It looks a bit like the film of The Lovley Bones! Wonderful! I have to read Of Mice and Men, or whatever it's called, so I can see this image in my mind!
My amazement from this is far beyond all else. the only thing close to it is my amazement that you were able to read that book. I read alot, but i dont think i could read that. Great work my friend.
