Burunoshiro, you're on the right track. All you need is practice and, some good ol' fashioned confidence. Your art is good already. :) Polish will come in time. If you take a look at Masamune Shirow's art back when he was drawing Black Magic Mario M66 or, his early Appleseed stuff you'll find he wasn't as good as he is now. You might even say it looks like crap. But, look at his artwork now. Don't sweat it. You'll get there to where you want to go with your art. I'm not saying I'm all that. All I'm saying is you'll get there just keep practicing and boost your confidence level. You're a lot better than you think. Check out my anime art in my gallery.
