By now, I visit this gallery very seldom, because of all this tracing-crap going on here.
But I'm very delighted, to see from time to time a picture, painted with skill and such an attention to detail.
Great work! keep it up!
your leaving? oh no..... i just got here. how could you leave?! your amazing!!! i dont think i can ever be as good as you until i'm at least.... 25? but if you do leave i'll respect that. good luck! i'll try to draw as good as you!
If you stay for a little longer, I got a request, well I saw your drawings from the Lord of the Rings and I was wondering if you could draw Frodo. It would make me soooo happy if you drew him! please draw him ^-^
I believe ive seen this same drawing except on a larger scale as a fast paint on youtube am i correct? you're the same artist correct? this is amazing what you have done with the 3d affects and your work is beautiful, what wonderful art.
friends, i began to paint with photoshop. I train a lot on it now!! but you guys can follow me on Deviantart. http://klausboss.deviantart.com/gallery/
the quality of my paintings will rise(up) much now. I will do more drawings in colors less frequently.. thanks for all.. thanks for the consideration and and praise in all the paintings!!! here could 2 top rankeds, 2 almost top rankeds, many times first place week, and have always been among the best .. thank you guys.. i not good, you all are the bests!!.... .. . sorry my english..
This is traced. the original was made by the same person who made the 25 years of zelda. I suppose the file wouldn't be corrupt if it actually had hard work put into it. It would be nice if legitimate works would get into the week's best instead of copies, but i suppose a tracer leaving the gallery is good enough for me.
I hope you continue with colors, perhaps the ds xl will motivate you to continue... I love yor art, please support my beginning paintings [first ever] if you like them in my gallery. thanks and best wishes to you.
To supernerd: Ever think to read the description of a painting before you comment? It clearly states '25th of zelda'. Also, the artist didn't claim the artwork is original, either. ALSO, clearly this painting took a lot of time and effort and *gasp* DareISayIt--SKILL even if it was traced. Which, btw, it obviously wasn't. (watch the playback) You should really think about what you say, or as in this case, you'll end up making yourself out to be a jacka-...ankle o.0
I can see why you are thinking of quitting COLOURS. When the gallery started it was full of really good art or people really trying to produce good stuff and improve, but now sadly most of it is utter c--p from talentless idiots who have no desire to enter into the true spirit of learning and improving artistic skills. People like yourself Klaus have true talent and not only give us something to inspire and aspire to, but have willingly advised those of us who are trying to learn and improve. Thanks for all you have contributed to what was a good original and creative concept. It nhas been a pleasure learning from you.
You are the greatest artist on Colours. As the spirit of your drawing flies off Colours, the pictures you drew will inspire newcomers and experts around the world. Good bye, but I don't want you to go. We have more to learn from you. Your journey might end here... I wish it didn't. Everyone on Colours will miss you... Good bye and thank you for inspiring me. Even tough I'm only 10, your pictures will be in me forever... Thank you... Good bye...
:D i still love this picture!!! if people say this is traced, that's not true. i dont think tracing can be this great! and even if you traced the outline, to be able to trace shading like that.... is that even possible? are you a god/goddess??? how do you make paintings such as these?! and if yo- hey! i can see the deku sprout! but if you do leave i can respect your wish. your an amazing artist. so..... bye...[it's so sad! i just found this place 2 weeks ago!!!]....
Plz don't go. I understand that you may be finished with this game, but i have one last request. If you could draw the Zora, Goron, and Kokiri stone in the temple of time it would make me and probably lots of people happy, but if you can't, it's fine, so if you do leave COLORS3D, keep drawing outside the game. Peace Out, Josephta
