Thx all u for comments and support! It was my second paint using Colors! TriD. I read all comments one by one. I used a screen shot as reference, Colors! 3D let u use pics from camera album as reference. Someone asked how to put pics in here, so ill tell: u can bring ANY image u want in here. U can download some images using 3DS navigator directly to ur camera album. Other way is to plug in SD card to ur PC, then copy the pic u want to use at DCMIs folders (where 3DS store pics), and dont forget to rename it similar to other images inside the folder u choose. Something like this "DCMI_####". As a new feature included in this app, using photo references to trace draws isnt cheating, its a tool u can use for help to keep proportions and pick some colors samples. Read Colors! 3D help to learn how to bring images from camera album, and some other stuffs like use of layers and 3D. Ok everybody, now grab ur favorites images and... Lets get ready to paint!!! :D
I would love to see someone provide straight-up proof that this is fake. And "There's no way someone could draw this" is not an answer, especially since you just WATCHED him draw it.

It looks so real...and I find it funny how your description is the buttons you push to play the "Song of Time!" It's my personal favorite song on there. I've got several Zelda game-inspired paintings if you want to look. They're not anywhere close to as good as yours, though.

Yes reyes, it's very difficult to take a screenshot ripped straight from Ocarina of Time and color the values differently. Clearly we are blind to the artistic majesty and not pointing out the outright theft of arguably the most famous video game ever made.

Hey this is a really great drawing everything for real, but, just out of curiosity (misspelled), what makes it SO great that it got 4500 (or something) likes?
Guys, I know it's great, but this is a TRACE. Look at the playback, he's doing different parts of it randomly, he's not making any mistakes... if this wasn't traced, the playback would be much longer on account of all the mistakes. But there aren't any in this pic. At least give credit to whoever made this pic first, i.e in this case, Nintendo. .-.
Y R there that many haters??? And even if it isn´t traced he needn´t make many mistakes (in case he used f.e. the "R"-button). I think it´s a great pic and don´t understand why some people are hating! (I´m from Germany so my English isn´t that good ;) )
After gazing upon this portrait, I was so destracted by it's attention to detail and proper use of visual effects that I neglected the fact that said image caused my bladder to implode.
Absolutely beautiful. This painting actually looks like a direct screenshot from Ocarina of time! The art style is just flawless, the colors are vibrant, and the atmosphere is phenomenal. This is a masterpiece in itself.

Looks like an in-game picture. Death Mountain in the backgrouns is also a nice touch. I don't know why the window on the left is slanted, but since the rest of the drawing is so good, I'll ignore that. 10/10

The artist already admitted that it was using a picture as a reference/overlay, but it doesn't matter because it still takes skill to paint something like this.
Thanks to all ppl who like this painting. It was my second try using Colors!3D... and my first try using photo reference feature as background. I just wanted to paint something using all new features that colors on 3DS got and ofc made it in 3D. And i wanted to paint it as quick i can cuz i wanted to post it at mere first day this app was released. As you can see im an old user of this app, first time i did use it, was in 2OO9 on DS lite. I choose Temple of Time cuz its my favorite place in OoT, and ofc everybody knows Nintendo owns copyrights from this... blah blah... Btw goship stones cant be seen, this draw point of wiew is a bit different than in game point of view. Maybe ill draw something in the future, but on this days i were kinda bussy. Great architecture, nice Mt.Doom, Love your name on the wall in the bottom left corner, the only little detail that you missed is the four Shikah stones in front of the water on the right, nothing else was missed really, not even the ring above Mt.Doom! OMG I saw this in Official Nintendo Magazine and it is defentley the best I have seen. It's AMAZING! When I saw it in ONM, I thought it was an Ocarina Of Time 3D screenshot!
most of top ranked are better but still people only look at the first few. try looking at other peoples paintings because most of them arent getting the credit they deserve and the top ranked never change. some people work hours on paintings that are really good but some of them only get like 5 likes because noone gives them a chance.
No offense, but I wonder why this painting receiced so many likes in the first place. . . I know that now people are liking it just because there are so many likes already, but how come this painting got to stay at the top for as long as I can remember? This is good, I'm a big Zelda fan, I've painted 2 really nice Zelda paintings and 2 Mario paintings as well, It's a shame that no one likes my painting and I barely have stars. But life isn't fear they always say.

Im back to Colors!, and first thing I found is they removed all older paintings that were in top rankings. First time I saw this, and i think its first time they do such a thing. This painting was so near, so close to tenthousand stars!! I wonder if theres a secret star at tenthousand. Maybe some ppl will keep liking it, driven it closely to thenthousand stars, and just maybe someday this will hit that big goal. I know it isnt the best painting in whole Colors! gallery, but for sure its still the most liked one. Thx again folks!! :D

So many ppl in gallery still jealous, hating this and saying it was traced. I did use "Reference Image" as bacground in 3DS, when i did this painting it was my second try using Colors! 3D, so I wanted to use all new features in this software. This features that doesnt exist in older versions of Colors for Nintendo DS. I wanted to convert some well know image to 3D, to test by myself what this app can do. Many ppl are using (abusing) background image to TRACE dot by dot any image, i did used it to keep proportion in place, and just care about to paint and reproduce textures by my own, no eye droop used for color samples. I did use eyedroop a lot but to pick my own samples to keep smootness in color contrast. It wasnt perfect, i did it in a rush to publish it at same day this app were released. Hope this comment fill up your jealous and hating heart. Thanks :)

We all know what's going to happen. There's not going to be a ten-thousand star and most people will be depressed about it. But hey, at least we got to like a very well known painting! :D
It's true, there is 9948 for this. Only fifty-two to go! C'mon people! And ignoring all the likes and stuff, I dunno if I ever said this but AMAZING work! I don't care even if it IS traced! (besides, this painting was made before everyone started hating on tracing and no one thought it was that bad)
