always loved this illustrastion (book is one of my favorite classics too!) and you did a beautiful interpretation of it rendering it in 3D. It's absolutely gorgeous. Love your other work so far as well!
Who ever made the cover of the book must have painted the carnaval scene in the background then let her/his autistic child draw a face over the top of it all.
Oh my! I loved this book when I read it in high school. I always loved the cover art as well. Something about it just draws you to it. And I had watched the movie for it too! Movie was terribleish.
Hmmm... I thoroughly didn't like this book. I prefer going back into old European books. I like the painting, and you can faintly see the women in the eyes.
